Do you accept walk-ins?
We are a by appointment only salon.
If you are in the area, we are more than happy for you to pop in and see if there is any availability, but we can't guarantee there will be a spot available.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is a council car park right next to the shop, as well as street parking around it, so most clients find a spot within a short walk.
Because availability can vary depending on the time of day, we recommend arriving a few minutes early to allow time to park comfortably.

Which treatment is right for me?
Not sure where to start? We can recommend the best treatment for your skin during a skin consultation. We'll assess your skin, discuss your concerns and create a treatment plan suited to you.
What is the best skin treatment for glowing, healthy skin?
There isn't one treatment that suits everyone! At Sœur. Skin, we tailor your treatment to your skin concerns and goals. Depending on your skin, we may recommend Skin Needling, Hydro Facials, Professional Peels or a combination of treatments to improve hydration, texture, congestion, pigmentation and overall skin health.
Is skin needling good for acne scars and pigmentation?
Yes! Skin Needling can be a great option for improving the appearance of acne scarring, uneven texture and pigmentation. By encouraging collagen production and skin renewal, regular treatments can help create a more even and refined complexion. Your treatment will be tailored to your individual skin and concerns.
How often should I have professional skin treatments?
The ideal treatment frequency depends on your skin, concerns and the treatment you're having. Some treatments can be performed regularly, while others require more time between appointments.
During your appointment, we'll recommend a personalised treatment schedule to help you achieve and maintain your skin goals.
Can I have any derma skin treatments whilst on Roaccutane?
Roaccutane (isotretinoin) makes the skin extremely thin, dry, and fragile, which means any intensive derma-skin treatments can easily cause irritation, tearing, burns, or long-term damage. Treatments like dermaplaning, microneedling, chemical peels, or strong exfoliation are too harsh for skin that's actively being thinned by the medication.
Roaccutane reduces your skin's ability to heal, protect itself, and regulate oil, so even treatments that normally feel gentle can lead to lifting, scabbing, hyperpigmentation, or scarring. For safety, clients must avoid all derma-skin treatments during Roaccutane and for several months after finishing. A doctor can confirm when your skin is fully recovered and ready for cosmetic treatments again.
What should I do before my appointment?
Please arrive with clean skin where possible and let us know about any active skincare, medications or recent treatments. Avoid using any new or strong active products immediately before your appointment unless advised otherwise.
What should I avoid after a treatment?
We recommend keeping your skincare routine gentle after your treatment and avoiding exfoliation, strong active ingredients, excessive heat and prolonged sun exposure while your skin recovers. Your therapist will go through your specific aftercare with you after your treatment.
Will my skin peel after a peel?
This depends on the peel and your skin. Some peels can cause mild dryness or flaking, while others may have little to no visible peeling. Peeling doesn't necessarily mean that a treatment has been more effective.
Can I have skin needling if I have active acne?
Skin needling isn't suitable over active or inflamed acne. We'll assess your skin before treatment and recommend a more suitable option if needed.
Can I have a facial if I have sensitive skin?
Yes! We can tailor your treatment to suit your skin on the day. If your skin is feeling particularly sensitive or irritated, we may adjust the treatment or recommend something more gentle.
Can I have a treatment if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
Some treatments and skincare ingredients aren't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please let us know before your appointment so we can make sure your treatment is safe and suitable for you.
What if I'm experiencing a breakout before my appointment?
Still come in! We'll assess your skin on the day and adjust your treatment if needed. If your skin is particularly inflamed, we may recommend a different treatment that is more suitable.
